Belated compliments of the new year to you all. It’s February, and although the world has been doing the Samba on the edge of the abyss since January 3 and the Doomsday clock has stalled at a few seconds to midnight, nobody has started chucking nukes about as yet…

General News:Surprisingly, not very much! I’ve started work early due to only having half my annual leave left after all the trips to Cape Town for my studies. I’ve also started work in earnest on my PhD thesis, and chapter 1 is due to be submitted by end March. ‘Scuse me – I’m a little busy for the time being

Current Writing Projects: With my time now fully occupied with research and assignments from varsity, I’m sorry to say: NONE. I’ll have no time available for writing fiction for the immediate future! At least not until sometime after I’ve handed in my PhD thesis sometime towards the end of 2026! (It still doesn’t sound real to me, but yes, it really is happening!) So yes, I decided to give it a rest until I’m done with that whole PhD project. In the meantime, if you like, you can catch up on books you may have missed (there are over 40 of them!) or keep up by bookmarking What’s Brewing?
