Christina Engela is a writer and digital creator based in Port Elizabeth, on the South East coast of South Africa – a tourist destination known as ‘the Windy City’, where watching birds fly backwards is a thing.
She lives with her wife Kay and four cats who compete for her attention and distract her from writing, but for all the right reasons.
Christina uses her lifetime of diverse accumulated experiences to enrich her creative output as an indie author, publisher and YouTuber.

A Nine In Time (Quantum book 10)
Time waits for no man, or so the saying goes… and for Johnathan Scrooby, time agent extraordinaire, Time had all but run out.
The trouble with being very, very good at one’s job was that somewhere someone would be envious of one’s reputation. At first the signs were subtle and vague… but before long, Scrooby knew for certain – someone at the Time Saving Agency – a very, very jealous colleague, or someone working for a Time Terrorist organization – was out to get him! Working at the TSA meant it was all too easy to make people vanish – and every breath was a temptation. Things were moving too fast – he needed time to think!
There was only one thing to do – he took a stripped Remote from the evidence locker, and late one night, he encoded an auto-delete bot to wipe all traces of his destination from the system – and stepped through the portal and vanished.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself in the coldest, harshest most inhospitable climes he could think of, where – he hoped – no-one would ever find him…

Where Darkness Softly Treads (Galaxii book 5)

Nita Harrison of the 25th Special Forces Group, Covert Division, Libcratic Marcellan Militia and her men, have little to no time for “Earthans”, the tortured and severely injured Hal is rescued.
What will Hal do now that she’s stranded on Marcellus, a war-torn, isolated planet, until she can return to her orbital base? What kind of relationship will grow between her and Nita – and how will the Terran influence affect the outcome of the war, and the future for the people of the colony?
